Art Shopping Paris Takes Over the Carrousel du Louvre This Weekend
One of Europe's most beloved contemporary art events returns this weekend. Art Shopping Paris runs April 10 through 12 at the Carrousel du Louvre — the underground shopping-and-exhibition space beneath the famous glass pyramid. The show brings together approximately 150 artists and galleries from 27 countries, with more than 12,000 visitors expected across the three-day run.
This year's edition highlights hybrid forms of expression at the intersection of art and technology, with AI-assisted work taking up a dedicated section of the exhibition floor. Prices range from affordable prints at under €200 to major works into the five figures, making it one of the rare Parisian art events where casual browsers and serious collectors mix on the same floor.
If you're going: enter through the Carrousel du Louvre (Rue de Rivoli side) rather than the Pyramid. Weekend afternoons are busiest; Friday evening has a quieter opening-night vibe. Many artists are on-site and happy to discuss the work.
